Prentice Pollard's HomePage

This is Prentice Odell Pollard, the son of Lynda Lea Harrod, and Alphonso M. Pollard. His maternal grandparents are Gloria Williams (daughter of Octavia Rector and Lloyd Williams) and LeRoy I. Harrod (son of Viola (Donna) Carter and James LeRoy (Irvin) Harrod. (Information about his father's side of the family is his resposibility.)

I scanned this photo while in the house on Kenyon Street during the summer of 1995. I'm gonna take a wild stab and say that this was taken in 1993 for his high school graduation. I base this on the fullness of his mustache and beard. OTOH, he had enough hair on his face to require shaving when I saw him at Donna's funeral in May'90. When I saw him at LeRoy's Funeral in May'95, he was in college (University of West Virginia) and shaving his head, just like his great-great-grandfather, Arthur Albert Harrod (and I, your humble narrator).
