IMG102B and IMG102C are both of a guy named Jake. I can't remember his last name, but I remember that he sold me a Hasselblad with two lenses. I used to have a bill of sale with his name on it, but I sold it during my third phase. I'm sure that these images were taken with it, while I got the feel of the different lenses. They appear in opposite corners on the wall.
IMG0102B
was taken with the 150mm lens. He dominates the right half of
the image, with the crisp, sharpness of detail that only comes
from a large format negative and fine German optics. There is
a gazebo behind him, out of focus in the left half of the image,
barely recognizable, but providing a nice balance of light and
dark tones.
IMG0102C
was taken with the 80mm lens. This is your basic Photography-101
composition ... his face is one-third of the way from the top
edge and one-third of the way from the left edge of the image.
I think we were both on drugs at the time - he was really
getting into those flowers, and the negatives were either under
exposed or under developed, but I managed to create "passable"
prints.
