[www.eff.org] Well, gentle reader, I've had a placeholder for this URL since Day One, and this weekend I finally got around to extracting some of my publicity photos from a Kodak PhotoCD. There are still others to be scanned, but I'll get around to them some other time.

[ Added the promised scans, plus my promotional card and my standard model release. -=DAH=- 03-Nov-95 ]

The majority of my publicity photography was for musicians … either rock groups or solo performers. The remainder was for ecdysiasts and aspiring models. I also designed logos for them using Lettraset® transfers. I used to keep copies of the things I had printed as samples, but towards the end, I got lazy, and after I gave up my darkroom equipment, I trashed a lot of my samples, camera-ready layouts, and originals. These are what I can find after 20 years of moving through three states (NY, MI, & MA).

I charged $25.00 per session, and got a kick-back from the printer when they had 250 or 500 prints made. I could do up to four sessions on a weekend, and the printer would "gang" them on one sheet, then cut them apart. He'd charge them the "off-the-street" rate for a single job, and I got the difference from the discounted rate of doing four on a single sheet … he was only making one plate instead of four, and only one press set-up!
