One of the oldest prints in my portfolio, and
certainly among my Top Five.
This was taken with the Hasselblad in Dupont Circle, the "Haight-Ashbury" of Washington, DC, during the late 1960s. This had to be the summer of 1968, just before I started my Freshman year at R.I.T.
I still have the twelve-exposure roll of her with the lap full of
pigeons, this being the best. A few years ago, I went back with a print
and tried to find the spot, but as best as I could reconstruct the
position, the tree had been cut down. <sigh!>
