This is the box art from Revell's 1:144 P-47D Thunderbolt (Kit #4097).
I did this kit in 8th Air Force camo, and did another company's kit of the same plane in "bare metal" with red tail markings for the Tuskegee Airmen, although they flew with "bird cage" canopies instead of "bubble" canopies like both of these kits. I also have this plane in 1:700, 1:72, and 1:48 scale.
This is one of the planes I can fly with Secret Weapons
of the Luftwaffe.
