This is the box art from Revell's 1:144 F4U-1 Corsair (Kit #4098).
This is one of the three kits that I bought for $2.50 each the weekend I met Patrick Stewart in New York City a few years ago ... this started my current phase of modeling.
I also have this kit in 1:72 scale, but it's not detailed, and is just for scale reference. I'm
not particularly interested in this craft, but it's one that I can fly with the
flight simulator, Aces Of The Pacific™ (AOTP).
