Gunship 2000
This helicopter gunship simulation by
MicroProse is Totally Awesome!
(Read the official Press
Release about the latest release for Sony Playstation, whatever that
is. :-)
This was my first Apache simulator, and the Snap-Tite 1:72 kit that I made
in 1990, with it's companion Snap-Tite Mi-24 Hind, probably had a lot to do
with my buying it in the first place. That, and the 1990 movie
Fire Birds
with
Nicolas Cage and
Tommy Lee Jones.
1999-04-25: OK, I finally got an answer back from
MicroProse about getting the game and replacing the manuals, so please don't e-mail me and ask for copies of anything. I will no longer answer e-mail asking for game codes!

OK, let's see ... this page is screen shots of the game, so I'll walk you through
them. Click the image to get a page with a larger version and explanations.
2006-07-20: Removed all of the images.
That's all for now. -=DAH=- 1997-01-11
1999-04-22: Two years since I last worked on this page, and I hardly did anything.
In the mean time, I've discovered
GUNSHIP 2000 HINTS ON PLAY by Jim Day, Game Designer for Gunship 2000. If you still
have a playable version, you can still learn a few tricks from this page.
2006-07-20: There have been Too Many people linking to these images,
either for message board posts, or selling copies on eBay ... because of the
bandwidth problems (and Google's failure to clear their cache), I have deleted
all of the image files.
