[40donna.gif] This is Viola Carter Harrod, my father's mother, known affectionately as Donna (for reasons lost in the mists of time) to everyone except Pattie, who called her Betsy. This page collects pictures of her with various members of the family.

I scanned Donna's obituary and used OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert it back to machine readable ASCII text. I also scanned some photos my mother took at Donna's funeral.

Donna was a Past Worthy Matron of her chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliation. I recently found some of her O.E.S. Awards and have reproduced them on a Web page.
