Florence Ella Thompson's Home Page

Florence Ella Carter Thompson was the matriarch of the Carter Family, Thompson being the name from her third marriage. She had two children, William McKinley Carter and Viola Carter (Harrod), who was my father's mother.

When I started making these Web pages for family members, I didn't have any photographs of Great-grandma Thompson. My sister gave me a copy of her obituary when I went to Washington, DC for Uncle LeRoy's funeral, and I got beaucoup photographs of her a few weeks later when I drove down for an IGES meeting.
