You don't know anything about statistics, evidently. On the IQ scale, the mean (average) is 100, the standard deviation is 15. One standard deviation above and one standard deviation below the mean IQ (68% of the population) would encompass those with IQs between 115 and 85. Two standard deviations (95% of the population) would include those with IQs between 70 and 130.

The segment of the distribution to which you referred is two standard deviations up and two standard deviations down, between 70 and 130--by including those with IQs as low as 70, you are including people who are clinically retarded, and this with IQs of 130 (the other direction) would be borderline geniuses.

Did you go to college? If so, it must have been in some Afrocentric voodoo school or on an affirmative action program with white liberal professors kissing your behind all the way. I do hope you stay online with this nonsense, because you are one of the best arguments in favor of The Bell Curve (Herrnstein and Murray, 1994: The Free Press, New York) I think I have ever seen. It is one of my favorite books and a common topic of discussion between my friends and me.

You might be interested to know that the mean IQ of Americans of European ancestry is 105, and those of African ancestry is 85. This means that the aver age African--American ranks equal to the bottom 12%, more or less, of whites. Get a book on basic stats, learn to do Z tests, and you can figure it out.

About that MENSA membership. What chapter? I would really like to know. I've never known a MENSA member who couldn't comprehend basic statistics, and I have also never known a real one who advertised his or her membership. I have known a few bullshit artists who claim to be MENSAans, and for some reason, most of them were black. I have also never seen a black person at a meeting.

If you are actually a member, please study up before you try spouting this nonsense again. You'll give us a bad name.
