As-Salamu Alaykum. Call me Father of Kitten, but do not expect me to answer.

I give thanks to Allah for introducing me to Islam before He introduced me to Muslims.

Yeah, well, like by now you've figured out that I'm a Muslim, even if you're not quite sure what that means. I'm not sure that I can explain it in under a kilobyte, so I won't even try. Suffice it to say that Muslims practice Islam, and that we're talking a Way of Life, not just the Abrahamic religion practiced by one out of every five people in the world for over 1300 years now.

What You Need To Know: Not all who call themselves Muslims practice Islam, and not all who practice Islam are considered Muslims by others. This has to do with whose definition you use … one Muslim's divine commandment is another's heresy … don't go there! (One example of this is the differences between Sunni and Shi'ite. :-)

So, this page provides the collected URLs to some of my … expositions (what you now call blogs) … on the subjects of "Islam" and "Muslims".

Webrings

2006-01-10: Through attrition, I have become the RingMaster of eight of the twenty Islamic WebRings ... they go up for adoption, I say, "Sure, why not?" The next thing you know, I'm baby sitting another one. <sigh!> So I added the same image to the NavBar code for each of them, and if the folks at Homeland Security or the NSA can't figure out that all of these WebRings are managed by the same person, then this country is really in a L-O-T (Lot Of Trouble).

2006-09-16: I have given up being RingMaster of all the WebRings that I was managing ... it's just not fun any more.

2009-09-02: Well, I still appear to be a member of 16 Islam/Muslim WebRings ... most of the ones I abandoned have been taken over by another Manager ... I have offered them use of "home.gif" [home.gif] for use on the navbars, like they were on the ones that I managed.
