If you're stuck with an old version of Netscape and can't upgrade, DON'T PANIC! Pages that are certified to conform to the Hypertext Markup Language 2.0 (15-Jun-95) carry the NØTscape Certified trademark. "Nought-scape" means that you loose nothing (nought) from the presentation, even if you're crawling the Web in "text-only" mode, i.e., all of the neat little icon anchors have an alternate text display, so you won't miss bupkiss.
If, on the other hand, you're a Mosaic Purist and reject commercial or shareware software in favor of freeware, then you might be more comfortable visiting Nibble's, where I learned that a "What's New" Page is not as corny as I had originally assumed. BTW, you might find some other useful tips in My Very Own HTML Style Guide.
