So much has happened that I should have written about, but I've been very apathetic about my life in general and this journal in particular. <sigh>

Well, let's see ... I rented a Macintosh PowerPC for a month to redo an IGES translator for a company in California, and I fear I'm going to get stiffed on the $7,000 still owed on the job.

I went to Lynn&Paul's annual "alter ego" party last month. Ann was there, and made a point of ignoring me, so I left early. The funny thing was that I saw a woman at Friendly's earlier that day who was a deadringer for her. (I even took a snapshot to show her.)

I rearended another car last month at the Drum Hill Rotary ... $4,000 damage to the Adm. Gracie, no injuries. Had AAA tow me around the corner from the accident to A+ Auto Body, the same place that did the restoration of the Millennium Canary a few years ago.

One of Brian&Jan's ferrets died on Guy Fawkes Day ["Remember, remember the fifth of November …"]. Brian called from Mexico City last week ... looks like he'll spend Tday in Argentina, but might get home for Xmas.

FurFace had her teeth cleaned on Friday. She'd stopped eating her dry kibble, so I thought she might have a cavity. The vet sez that she has the teeth and gums of a 4 year old cat, and the dark spot on her tooth was just a mineral deposit. She doesn't respond well to the anesthetic these days, and really gets distressed (vomiting and defecating) if we take too long getting home from the House of Pain.

The $15,000 from the Navy arrived, and I've had a mental block for the last few weeks about finishing it ... that's why I'm here, drinking coffee and snarfing doughnoughts, trying to "flesh it out".

Sitting in a Friendly's after the mail run. Stopped at the stationary store next door for supplies.

Brian & Jan stopped by last night on their way home from TDay at his folks' place in Maine. Took Polaroids, digitized them, and printed them in color. (First time for full loop with BJC600 printer.)

Big excitement the night before Thanksgiving. One of the young men who works at the family owed hardware store in Vinal Square was stuck by a car and medivaced by chopper from the parking lot of the senior center. We had our first snow that day (Paul Flannery took the dock out of the water a few hours before it hit) and the temperature was 20 degrees fahrenheit.
