The Chelmsford Dunkin' Donuts doesn't allow smoking anymore town ordinance so I came to this one after my midnight mail run to Concord. The Adm. Gracie passed 30,000 miles on the way there.

Let's see, Brad Smith dropped by a few weeks ago on his way back to Gaithersburg after attending his father's 80th birthday in New Hampshire ... we had breakfast and talked about my doing CD stuff for NCGA. Later that week, Lisa Deeds called about doing a review of MILD28000 for $15K(!!), which Ben had first mentioned in Phoenix. If & when it gets through their purchasing system, I'll believe it.

If Brian got back last weekend, he didn't call ... I left a message on his machine on Wednesday. Linda Owen and Darla Ostrum both called last week to see how I was doing. Mac and his new bride got back from a couple months in KY to find that HoJo & his buds had trashed the apartment ... he also flunked out of college, ran up several hundred dollars worth of dialaporn, and is now living "somewhere in Albuquerque".

I have my "driving competency test" for my handicapped plates this week ... I'll ask Alice to go with me. Pop has sent a couple thousand to my bank & asked for more deposit slips. Most of my $185 AmEx bill was for CompuServe access ... I downloaded beaucoup addon files for SWOTL, most of which I couldn't get to work, and a bunch of 3Mb multimedia film clips (about 45 minutes for each 90 second video) that are impressive for demoing my machine, but rather boring after a few viewings. Thinking very seriously about getting a tape drive for backups.
