791122h This is Thanksgiving 1979 at Grandma Greenfield's. This was one of those years when we had multiple meals Thursday with Harrods and then Friday with Greenfields.
Wearing the khaki shirt is Michael Greenfield, my 1st cousin, youngest child of Uncle Hugh, my mother's brother. He and I went to see Apocalypse Now later that evening. We also went to the Marine Corps Memorial to see the view of Washington, DC at night, only to discover that it had become a hangout for gay men in the DC area. <sigh!> There's another picture of Michael & me taken the day before.
Seated in front of him, with the handle-bar mustache, is Franklin Ratliff, my sister's husband. The woman in the middle is my sister, Phyllisolive Harrod. The baby is their son, Vincent Dennette Ratliff.
I am the big hairy dude in bibbed overalls
holding the rug-rat.
