On the air at WBFB-FM again - Chic and I spent Xmas on the air at the station.

None of the expected Xmas business materialized, and I've been depressed for weeks - no car - stacks of bills - no money.

I have procrastinated with too many things for too long, and I can see it all slipping away between my fingers.

Wrote letters in reply to Stu, Sam, Bob & Nancy Pierce, Mac & Diane - more still to be written.

I gave Chic a new watch band for Xmas - the only present I gave anyone - she gave me some Israel stamps that LeFevre had been holding for me - the only present I got.

Pop talked Army Reserves to me on the phone Xmas day, but it sounded very attractive this time around - I could go in as an officer with a B.S., and with "The Depression" looming on the horizon, the eagle's tit would be mighty comfortable - $70 a month for one Saturday afternoon a month ain't bad at all.
