This page is simply what it sez it is. (If you're
really anal, then I suppose you'd rather see the Table of Contents for my WWW pages. :-) I'll try to keep this UpToDate,
but no promises, so no complaints.

my Playboy collection. Wed, 2005-01-26 ... Well, it sez that 1998-07-26 was the last time I updated this page, and I can't even begin to remember what I've added since then! :-)
I'll try to remember and add some of the highlights ... First of all, my parents passed away in 2000, and in 2001, I moved back to Washington, DC to live in a co-op apartment with No View. <sigh!>
FurFace crossed the Rainbow Bridge in August of 2002, and seven weeks later, I rescued Chiana from the local shelter ... Brucilla is now one of three PCs in a wireless network ... Zathras is the current muscle-machine (666 MHz, 40 Gb drive, 2 CD-ROM drives), Orion is an IBM Thinkpad 600E running Win98 and Linux, and Brucilla has been brain-damaged back to a Win95 machine so that I can play legacy games ... I have a CCD camera on my 8-inch Celestron telescope, and Orion reads it through the USB port with standard Logitech software drivers.
I set up a site for my Lionel Trains that I found in my parent's attic ... I hadn't played with them since 1964, but I bought a ping-pong table online from Sears, and that gave me a 5x9 foot flat, horizontal surface to set up a 4x8 foot track layout ... now that I've tested and photographed everything, it's time to remove and box the track so that I can lay out the HO trains.
The biggest recent change is that I have a cell-phone that is Web-enabled, and I have reformatted some of my pages to make them more phone-friendly ... mostly it was changing tables of icons so that they were a single column ... it turns out that my decision (many long year ago) to use 40x40 icons was prophetic, as the new paradigm is based on a Very Tiny Screen with only a few lines and very few characters per line.
More links to come Real Soon Now.

Sun, 1998-02-22 ... Well, Virtual Water Holes™ has moved from a server in my home to a commercial server in another state. The transition happened around the first of the year, and was unremarkable (after a few false starts. :-)
Brucilla has had a motherboardectomy, and is now a 233MHz MMX Pentium with 128Mb of RAM, 6.8Gb of disk, and a dual-boot Windows 95/NT configuration.
