These are the URLs to my journal entries for specific dates. I'll be adding them in a piece-meal fashion, as the Spirit moves me. Most of the early entries are still in hand written form and need to be transcribed. I also have 10-1/2 hours of audio tapes to transcribe. Since 1988, I've been making my journal entries directly into various PCs, so they probably show up first.
Because I went digital back in 1988, I've got copies of my correspondence here, both e-mail and annual Ramadan/Christmas mailings. Sometimes, I'm compelled by circumstances to don my Cloak of Righteous Indignation. Sometimes, these things get published. Sometimes, I'm just in a Bad Mood and want to flame.
This was the year I left Kodak, met Chic, and photographed Joni (the Wood Nymph). Most of the material on my photography career pages was produced in this year the rest date back to 1968.
This was the year that I decided to give up photography as a career, Chic and I parted company, and I started taking Computer Science courses at RIT. Most of this year is on audio tape (about 10½ hours worth) that I have not even cataloged, let alone started to transcribe. A lot of it is just rambling while smoking pot. <sigh!>
Well, this was the year that I began my relationship with Lorraine, probably the longest and most healthy (least damaging?) relationship I had between my two marriages. I was into wearing bib-overalls (Oshkosh, b'gosh!) and added a graphics board and speech synthesizer to my 8-bit single-board computer.
This was the year that I met Ann, and I started keeping the journals on a palm-top computer.
This was the year that I wrote a lot of entries in airports between flights - Computervision sent me to Europe - twice! Oh, yeah I met Patrick Stewart in Manhattan.
This was the year I moved from Lowell to Freeman Lake, bought the Adm. Gracie, and got laid off from Computervision.
This was the year that I replaced Onion (the DEC Rainbow 100) with Brucilla (a 486/33), and replaced the HP InkJet printer with an HP LaserJet.
This was the year I suffered a stoke on May 5th the Mexican's Cinquo de Mayo or "The Day of the Dead"
Yeah, well, this is pretty spotty, because it's still too soon to expose on the infobahn.
This year is still under construction
D'oh!
